A Look Back

Life as I know it in 2004
with the drop of the ball last year I saw the year 20 come and with the drop of the ball this year I saw the year 20 go and heres what I learned in between...

-Love hurts, but can't live without some form of it
-Being stubborn can get you hurt, hit, yelled at and ultimately told your right so that you will stop being stubborn
-Top 5 bands I hadn't heard of before this year that I now love: Taking Back Sunday, Brand New, Armor for sleep, Fall out boy and My Chemical Romance (in no particular order)
-A full beard can be grown in under 3 weeks
-Makeshift Wolverine claws will explode under intense pressure...if you fuck with a friend you fuck with me!
-Having a life and doing school work can acctually be groupped together
-Friends are amazing...the new and the old!
-I've got 99 problems and a bitch ain't one
-The band whose songs get stuck in my head all the time and won't get out and I rarely admit I like because my punk friends would make fun of me: Maroon 5
-Tobagganing is as fun when your 20 as when your 10
-Butterflies and trampolines
-resolutions are almost alwasy broken
-I resolve to strive for mediocracy thus I can easily attain my goal and will less likely be disappointed when I do not reach a lofty goal
-Streaking never loses its hilarity
-Never regret things
-Live in the now...not the past and certainly not the future

-Best movies of the 04: Napoleon Dynamite, Dodgeball, Saved, Garden State and (sadly I have to put it in here because it was good...but I am still very manly for liking it) The Notebook
-Worst movies of the 04: anything with jude law
-Biggest letdown of a movie due to high expectations: Anchorman
-Biggest surprise hillarious movie due to no expectations: Harold and Kumar go to White Castle
-I think I am cool and really thats all that matters
-Cocky and confident are quite different
-Quebec night scene is amazing...and I am a good teammate no matter if its my team or not (good ole hotel streaking)
-Your best friends show thier true colors thru adversity and conflict
-Your own true colors are not always shown thru adversity and conflict...but your weasling out of things skills usually are
-time for a shave
