Do it...do it
So I don't feel very creative right now but I feel as though you took time out of your precious lives to check up on this sorry excuse for a blog thus I should provide you with some entertainment...thus my list of bands you should listen to before the year is done (many of which can be found on www.purevolume.com or www.absolutepunk.net )...this list is in no particular order but the ones with the little star by them are bands whose cd you need to buy because every song on the cd is amazing, they are one of those you will listen to from start to finish with no need for a track change button...also some without the star you may want to buy but I cannot find thier disc's for the life of me thus I cannot condone the whole cd! I am not saying you will like this music...especially if you don't like emo and punk and all that but you should still listen to them...even I don't like some of them but it gives you some choice
anyway to it I go (its gonna be a long list)
Brand New*****, My Chemical Romance****, The Format, The Living End, Park, The Early November, Snow Patrol, Armor for Sleep, Anberlin, Something Corporate, Straylight Run**, Taking Back Sunday and The Used *(thier old cd's are money...new ones are alright but hard to match up to the others), Jimmy Eat World*****, Vendetta Red, Unwritten Law, Denver Harbour, Fenix Tx, The Spill Canvas, Halifax, Emery, Further Seems Forever, Brandston, I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business, Flashlight Arcade, Stars Hide Fire, Funeral For a Friend, From First to Last, Homegrown, Allister, Letter Kills, Midtown, Fallout Boy, Say Anything*, Alexisonfire, A Thorn For Every Heart, Relient K, Blink 182*, Coheed and Cambria, Sherwood, Pedro the Lion, Matchbook Romance, Dashboard Confessional, Death Cab for Cutie, Don't Look Down, One Dollar Short, Number One Fan, The Postal Service, NOFX**, Over It, Light the Sky*, Hidden in Plane View, Novice***, Name Taken, The Movie Life, Mest*, Less Than Jake, Kick Over the Traces, Acceptance*, Cartel*, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, June, Houston Calls, Hazen Street, Hawethorn Heights (niki fm..really the only song I like of theirs), Half Way Home, Gatsby's American Dream***, Copeland (if you like emo at all you have to get the song by Underoath featuring the lead of copeland...I think its called "some will seek forgivness, others escape"...its dynamite!!), Audio Karate, The Trademark, The Starting Line (also see The Get Away), The Salads (music isn't all that great but they are absolutely amazing live!), The Rocket Summer, Saves the Day, Senses Fail...and a little uderground hip hop that emo punk rockers might enjoy Atmosphere, Sage Francis, The Dorian Three, Yy, MC Lars and possibly some Brother Ali (I am just throwin these in there for those readers who hate emo punk)
(who am I kidding I barely have any readers thus I shouldn't be worried about differing musical tastes)
anyway this should be close to a years worth of Music for you, as I discover more I shall maybe let you know!

Good list. I've spent some quality time listening to most of those bands and I'll give it the stamp of approval.
The only band I could think to add would be Moneen. They aren't soley emocore, but they put on fucking awesome shows.
Oh yeah, and if you like emocore, you'd like the Decemberists. Oh and Flogging Molly (saw them at Warped Tour. Effin awesome)
ps> How you doing Petes! Haven't seen you in a while.
