Things change yet things stay the same...
Hey everybody!!!!!!! I am back in the wonderful country known as canada and I am pumped about it!
I came back basically on the 30th of april to surprise Luba the day before her birthday cause she thought I was comming back on the 15th of may...it worked!!
This brings me to today's topic (which will take place before I recap the last month of craziness in the land of auz)...The topic is that of how things can change and yet stay the same!
I came home to the love of my life...and we are both different than we were 3 months ago! I can get into specifics but I am not going to cause these are things for me to know and not you crazy bastards...but just trust me on the we are different thing. But the thing I have noticed is that even though we are different people, whether how insignificant the change has been we are still in the same place. We picked up as if the three months really had only been a couple of days...which is so wicked awesome! I have never ever sucessfully held down a long distance relationship...well I have only tried one other but that didn't end to good...probably mostly my fault by reading into things and words too much...anyway that experience taught me not to read into things very much, take it at face value! Now during my whole trip Luba was on my mind constantly but not in a bad way, it never hindered me from doing anything, we kept up tuesday night date nights (which I must admit last nights tuesday night date night was the best one of the past while!! obviously)...anyway I am rambling on and on about how happy I am...I meant this to be a life talk..anyway I get back I have changed, my girlfriend has changed, my friends have somewhat changed and yet we all stayed the same with one another. They were still all exstatic to see me, I was still pumped to tell them all my stories and blah blah blah...so moral of this pointless rambling is that change doesn't always mean you become someone different. If someone is changing don't write them off, don't think they will be around at the end of the change it just means that you will have new things to talk about and poke fun at them for!!
now for the real reason people probably (by people I mean like the 2 to 5 people that might acctually read this (myself included haha))
So I will just run over the parts I wanna runover...we drove up to byron bay in the vanski and there was this gigantic vlues festival on which meant the town of byron bay went from 3000 people to about (in total) 70,000 in 4 days!! needless to say the parties were amazing and the beach was awesome and snorkeling was amazing...I saw a shark!!!!! and then we went to this place called nimbin which is australia's amsterdam and that was nuts and then to a waterfall and then we sold our van and decided to go on a super sweet trip up to fraser island and then while we were waiting for the bus we met to scotish chicks that were pretty cool and the bus was 8 and a half hours late and then we went to surfers paradise which was cool but super duper comercialized and there we stayed with Luba's cousin and her 3 month old and the kid loved me and her cuz is sooo cool and then we went to brisbane for a day and then to fraser on that trip we booked and I had the best time of entire trip being in a pink 4x4 with 8 other guys getting drunk talking guy talk and partying with like 35 people a night on this all sand island where we went to the champagne pools, lake wabby etc and I gave a guy a piggy back down the hill cause I was broke and he paid me and then we went to the ggreatest place I have ever been called lake mckenzie it had the whitest sand I have ever seen and then the three tone water which goes clear light blue and the like a deep black and then the trip was over and we left the boys behind and these boys were cool it was like we had all known each other for years and anyway we caught the overnight bus to airlie beach and then went sailing for three days around witsundays and that was awesome and then we got back and partied and then I had to bus to townsville where i got sick on the bus toielt but i missed the toielt cause wqe hit a bump and then i flew to sydney and then to home after a 40 hour flight where the friggin airlines lost my baggage so I didn't have anything I bought for like 3 days but then it came and bam here I am now on this computer!!
just so you all I meant to not use periods as a metaphor about how the last month was non-stop like one continuos run on sentence and then all of a sudden its like bam you are home and done!!
Anyway no one probably got to the end...all in all the trip was amazing, I am addicted to alot of things now including traveling but I will never ever travel again without my signifcant other...but if I don't have one then it will be cool...well not cool cause I fell as though I probably should have a significant other for the remainder of my days...what...wombat!!
Peace out anyone who read this far!!
