To Each Thier Own...

Ok holy wow has it ever been a long time...as Em pointed out if she has posted more than me then something must really be wrong!! Thing is I haven't posted for a long time for the exact opposite reason...basically everything (surrounding my immediate life anyway) has been realtively right (except for the passing on of grandpa peters...R.I.P. you crazy fool!! it was your time). What I have taken from this 2 months of craziness and general life living is a reflection on the things that we do that make us, well us!!

I have found something out about myself that I previously didn't wholly understand. I understood that I liked to make people happy, truly happy. I always thought that putting others before myself was for the best and that thier happiness superceeded my own happiness most of the time. But what I have discovered is that by going those extra steps to make someone else happy I am in turn making myself happy. I am satisfying my own needs by catering to others... When I do something for my girlfriend to make her happy its for 2 reasons. Number one to make her happy, obviously and number two it brings me a huge sense of joy to se her happy. I ussually will go as far as I can to make someone else happy...cause if I can't it affects me. So for this..if I ever am trying to make you happy don't think I am totally unselfish in the whole thing because truth be told I am taking a certian sense of self gratification from it that may not always be seen but is definately always there!

My blog isn't the only thing I have neglecting in the last few months...my music collection has been put on some sort of permanent hold which sucks...the only new stuff I have is the format's new cd cause Skinny Kiel burnt it for me cause he knew what kind of funk I have been in for new music...so this is my cry for help, please leave a comment with atleast 5 new bands I must check out..DO IT, DO IT!!

Education, Secondary Education at the U of S to be exact. I have always heard it was somewhat of a joke, and I was kind of skeptical and decided to figure it out for myself...well I am here to say that if you feel like grade 4 or 5 was some of your better years than taking Secondary Education at the University of Saskatchewan is right up your alley. So far (2 weeks in) I have not been challenged to think deeper than my name, what sort of things define me and whether I am a visual, audio or hands on type of learner.

So I have been looking for a roommate to move out with...The current roommies named Mom and Dad are getting increasingly harder to live with as they often forget that I am 22 nearly 23 years old and seem to think that I should be treated as though I were the same 15 year old kid they used to know. Problem is anyone I would move out with is already out or has no intention of moving out anytime soon. Ches is looking at buying a house ands the moment he does I will be his new inhabbitant, mark my words!!

So never got to shooting the movie this summer do mainly in part that I kept putting off finalizing the script, but I have worked a little bit on plan to ultimately be done after x-mas break, mark my words!!

Mark my words...where do I come off using that saying 3 times in one blog!

So at work last wednesday they put me on the water wagon (tractor) to water plants around campus, sure its a sweet job I have done it since september started trouble is on wednesday it was freakin raining, what are they getting at putting me on a water wagon to water plants when the sky is doing a fine job its self!!

2 girls I met in OZ are comming to work in banff and want to come and stay with me for a weekend and party it Saskatchewan style!!

I LISTEN TO 2PAC (well only the one thats mixed with Elton John...but I am still part gangster right??)

Things with the LUB still amazing if you were wondering...though I need a new suit cause the 2 suit rotation is gettin old with the amount of weddings the 2 of us have been to. We have a bunch of pictures at weddings and she has somethiung new on in all of them and then theres me in the same old 2 suits with the same old solid colour shirt and solid colour tie in each of them!!

OK off to do some school work...I will be a little more punctual on my blog posting next time
